The minimum age to enroll is 10 Years for the Western vocal program. The program is designed exclusively for adults and children aged 10 and above. There is no maximum age limit. There is absolutely no need to have prior music knowledge or instrument skills to learn to sing, and of course you can learn at your own pace. Duration of completion of the Levels/Program is based on your comfort.

Yes the slot for class is a permanent slot on a fixed day & time of a Week. The slot will be discussed with student before enrollment.

The online singing class is a "One on One" class with a single student.

Duration of an Online "One on One" class is 40 Minutes.

No, we do not provide offline classes.

One class per week is the standard. In between the classes the practice that you do at home is most important. More classes will add value only If you are on vacation and have lots of free time to attend classes and practice a lot more. If you are on vacation, 2 classes per week can be taken for a short duration of 4 weeks or for the duration of your vacation.

Yes. All instructor's are BGMA in-house instructors, and follow our standard Western vocal program and teaching methodology.

Yes. Practice at home is important on the lessons that are covered in a class. Classes are meant for learning new material, reviews and technical discussions. Lessons are provided in digital format that can be downloaded.

Yes. The class can be rescheduled with advance intimation to instructor.

The fee is not just for the classes. Classes are only one part of the training. The fee covers the entire system — including program quality and digital material, instructor expertise, personalized guidance, and the overall quality of the training.

Generally fee follows a full course payment or other payment cycle. BGMA follows a 2 Month Payment cycle. Fee is to be paid for every 2 Months as long as student is enrolled in the program.

A Laptop or desktop with broadband internet connection has to be used. A phone can be used with wi-fi if you absolutely have no access to a laptop .

Yes. After completing the program, BGMA certificate will be provided in digital format.

There is absolutely no difference between them. Both are in-person classes with online classes conducted remotely on live video. Irrespective of online or offline, developing good skills in music depends on the quality of the programs & training, students commitment & practice and various other factors. Since these resources are not personalized, most people, especially beginners will end up directionless and often develop gaps in fundamentals such as pitch, scale understanding, breathing, voice control, and song application, making it difficult to progress or sing with confidence. At Bangalore Global Music Academy (BGMA), Western Vocals is taught through one-on-one live online classes with professional vocal instructors, following a structured and progressive curriculum. This personalized approach enables real-time correction of pitch and technique, customized song selection, and focused development of each student’s voice. While YouTube and AI apps can be helpful as reference tools at an intermediate or advanced level, they cannot replace personal mentorship, real-time vocal feedback, and structured training, which are essential for learning Western vocals effectively.

Absolutely! You can learn to sing at any age. Age doesn’t matter when it comes to learning music. What truly matters is your interest and patience. Many people explore singing later in life and find great joy in it. With regular practice, you'll make steady progress and enjoy the journey.

At BGMA, learning to sing — for both hobbyists and serious learners — is a structured, skill-based journey that develops through consistent practice, commitment, and guided training. Musical progress cannot be evaluated in a single trial or demo session. For this reason, BGMA does not offer trial or demo classes. However, after enrollment and full fee payment, every student receives a free introductory class. If you decide not to continue after this session, you may cancel the enrollment and receive a full refund, no questions asked.
