The foundation of Bangalore Global Music Academy (BGMA) is built upon the proven success of Bangalore Guitar Academy (BGA) established in 2016. What began as the BGA academy specialized in guitar classes has now evolved into BGMA, combining the depth and discipline of a traditional academy with the flexibility of modern online learning, and led by professional musicians.

Our mission is to make high quality, and the best online music classes accessible to students everywhere, whether you're learning as a hobby or to develop professional skills. Through live, one-on-one online classes in Guitar (our specialist BGA division) and Vocals, we help learners build real skills!

Since our inception, we have trained students from across India and around the world, including Australia, Dubai, Singapore, the USA, Europe, and beyond.

Our Team

One shared passion. Bringing BGMA's mission to life!

BGMA is led by Ramesh K Ravindran, the same founder and professional musician who started BGA, ensuring a seamless commitment to quality and consistency with his 17 years of experience as a guitarist. He has deep roots in Karnataka, born in Kudremukh and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mysore. Before pursuing music full-time, he worked as a Project Manager at HCLTech, where he was actively involved in training and content creation. His musical journey was shaped under the mentorship of Robert D'Souza, a graduate of the Los Angeles College of Music, USA.

Our team of instructors are professional musicians, and come from diverse musical backgrounds as performing musicians, multi-instrumentalists, classically trained musicians and music production experts, bringing a wealth of knowledge to our students. All our instructors are trained in BGMA standards, and adhere to the BGMA music programs and teaching methodology ensuring that every student receives the same level of world class quality standards set by BGMA.
