About Us
At Bangalore Global Music Academy (BGMA), we believe in the power of structured, high-quality music education. Founded in 2016 and led by professional musicians, BGMA combines the depth and discipline of a traditional music academy with the flexibility of modern online learning.
Our mission is to make high quality music classes accessible to students everywhere, whether you're learning as a hobby or to develop professional skills. Through live, one-on-one online classes in Guitar, Vocals, and Music Production, we help learners build real skills!
Since our inception, BGMA has trained students from across India and around the world, including Australia, Dubai, Singapore, the USA, Europe, and beyond.
Our Team
Ramesh K. Ravindran is the founder of Bangalore Global Music Academy, with deep roots in Karnataka. He was born and raised in Kudremukh and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mysore. He is a professional musician with 17 years of experience as a guitarist. Before pursuing music full-time, he worked as a Project Manager at HCLTech, where he was actively involved in training and content creation. His musical journey was shaped under the mentorship of Robert D'Souza, a graduate of the Los Angeles College of Music, USA.
Our team of instructors are professional musicians, and come from diverse musical backgrounds as performing musicians, multi-instrumentalists, classically trained musicians and music production experts, bringing a wealth of knowledge to our students. All our instructors are trained in BGMA standards, and adhere to the BGMA music programs and teaching methodology ensuring that every student receives the same level of world class quality standards set by BGMA.
