Our Story
Most music schools are "factories" that try to teach a dozen different instruments at once. We believe that mastery isn't found in doing everything — it’s found in doing a few things exceptionally well.
That’s why at BGMA, we specialize exclusively in Guitar and Vocals, with over a decade of teaching excellence. This singular focus allows us to provide a level of technical depth and dedicated mentorship that all-in-one music schools simply cannot match.

Founded by professional musicians with over a decade of teaching experience, BGMA was built to combine the discipline of traditional music education with the flexibility and accessibility of modern learning. What began as a focused guitar academy in Bangalore has evolved into a global platform serving students across continents.
Our curriculum is designed for both hobbyists and serious learners seeking long-term musical growth. Every class is conducted by our in-house team of professional musicians, ensuring consistent quality and mentorship.

Ramesh K Ravindran is the Founder and Director of Bangalore Global Music Academy (BGMA), with deep roots in Karnataka. He grew up in Kudremukh and pursued his Mechanical Engineering degree in Mysore, where his musical journey began.
Before dedicating himself fully to music, he worked as a Project Manager at HCLTech, where he developed expertise in training systems — principles that now form the backbone of BGMA’s teaching methodology. A professional guitarist with over 18 years of experience, he has built BGMA around structured, results-driven music education designed for both serious and hobby learners alike.
His musical development was shaped under the mentorship of Robert D'Souza, a graduate of the Los Angeles College of Music (USA), bringing international standards and disciplined musicianship into BGMA’s programs.
BGMA’s instructor team consists exclusively of professional musicians from diverse musical backgrounds — including performing artists, multi-instrumentalists, classically trained musicians, and music production specialists.
Every instructor undergoes internal training aligned with BGMA’s teaching standards and structured curriculum framework. This ensures that regardless of the instructor, every student receives consistent, high-quality, personalized instruction rooted in the academy’s methodology. Our unified teaching system allows us to maintain global quality standards while delivering individualized mentorship for each learner.
