Fingerstyle Acoustic Guitar Program
(6 Months Duration - 5 Modules)

A short-term fingerstyle guitar program focused on learning fingerstyle instrumental pieces from Pop, Western Classical, Folk and Flamenco

Prerequisite:

  • Experienced players having good skills with chords and songs.

  • Students who have completed the "Fast Track Comprehensive Guitar Program". 

Guitar Required: Steel String Acoustic Guitar or Nylon String Classical Guitar

Program Overview

Note: Duration to complete the program will vary depending on individuals skill, experience and practice.

Left & Right Hand Fundamentals & Techniques​​​

  • Learn fingerstyle Picking & Plucking Techniques and variations of "t-i-m-a" sequences to develop good right hand technique.

  • Learn fingerstyle chord arpeggio patterns with variations of "t-i-m-a" sequences to develop good right hand technique.

  • Learn exercises to develop specific Left & Right hand finger techniques

  • Learn to combine fingerstyle picking, plucking and strumming techniques to create rhythm patterns for songs.

Fingerstyle Instrumental Pieces

  • Learn fingerstyle instrumental pieces from Pop, Western Classical, Folk and Flamenco.

  • Learn arrangements to perform vocal songs as fingerstyle instrumental piece for solo performance.​
