(Beginner - Intermediate)

Basics

  • Learn to read Guitar Tablature (TAB) and Chord Diagrams

  • Learn various aspects of posture for correct techniques and playing comfort

  • Learn important fundamentals, exercises and techniques to develop good Left & Right hand coordination

  • Learn the aspect of "Time Values" using music notation

Chord Fundamentals and Techniques

  • Learn the important Open position chords, other shapes of the chords, Power chords, and various chord progressions that are used to play thousands of songs from various genres

  • Learn techniques & exercises to easily shift between chords in time to develop strong chord playing skills quickly

  • Learn the fundamental strumming patterns and strumming techniques like Palm Mute that are used for dynamics & tone

Solo/Lead Fundamentals and Techniques

  • Learn Alternate picking technique to play solos fluently

  • Left & Right hand techniques & exercises to develop strong Pick attack & Control

  • Learn various soloing techniques like vibratos, Hammer On/Pull Off, Slides, String Bending etc., and

  • Learn to implement all solo techniques effectively in songs and instrumental pieces

Songs & Instrumental across genres

Learn to play songs and instrumental pieces from various genres to develop all round guitar skills in chords and lead.

Vocal Songs

For ease of learning every vocal Song is broken down with clear details of song structure, chords & progressions, strumming patterns & techniques, solo/lead, Riffs etc, along with audio tracks & backing tracks.

Instrumental Arrangements

Learn to arrange vocal songs and other musical pieces as instrumental arrangements to develop creativity and strong technical skills in chords and lead.

Assessments 

Throughout the program the assessments at regular intervals are designed to evaluate students performance by identifying specific areas for improvement and providing actionable steps to enhance skills.

Level 3

(Intermediate - Advanced)

Advance your techniques and song playing skills

The intermediate advanced level will up your playing skills to make you a technically strong player

  • Learn bar chords and various bar chord progressions that are used to play songs from various genres

  • Learn techniques & exercises to comfortably play bar chords and easily shift between bar chords in time to develop strong chord playing skills.

  • Learn additional strumming techniques like staccato strum, dead note technique, rest technique etc. to develop strong strumming techniques for dynamics & feel.  

  • Learn to play technically advanced songs and instrumental arrangements to develop strong song playing skills in chords and lead.

  • Workshop to develop stronger technical skills 

Fingerstyle Basics 

  • Learn fingerstyle Picking & Plucking Techniques, chord arpeggio patterns and variations of "t-i-m-a" sequences to develop good right hand technique.

  • Learn to combine fingerstyle picking, plucking and strumming techniques to play songs.

Fundamental Music Theory

  • Learn fundamental theory of Major & Minor scales

  • Learn theory of Chord families and relationship with scales

  • Learn to transpose songs to a different key and understand various scenarios for transposing music

  • Learn various scenarios and theory behind using Guitar Capo

  • Learn the theory of chord construction & Triads

Fingerstyle Instrumental (Bonus Songs)

Upon completing Level 3, students with an interest in fingerstyle acoustic guitar can learn bonus fingerstyle instrumental arrangements from Western classical, folk, flamenco, and pop.

Note: Learning these bonus fingerstyle songs will require around 4 months. The duration will vary based on each student's skill level, practice, and other factors.
